Our team reviews your application to ensure alignment with Private Harvest values and standards. We verify your operation and may reach out with questions. Most applications are reviewed within 3-5 business days. Once approved, you'll receive an email with next steps.
Pay your annual producer membership fee through our secure payment system. This one-time annual fee covers platform access, member network exposure, and ongoing support. No commission fees or per-transaction charges—just straightforward annual membership.
Review and sign the producer agreement, which outlines your responsibilities as a PMA producer member. This agreement protects both you and our members, establishing clear expectations for listing quality, communication, and ethical practices.
Access your producer dashboard and create your farm profile. Add listings with descriptions, price information, and inventory levels. Upload photos to showcase your listings. Set your pickup location and schedule. Once published, your listings become visible to all Private Harvest members in your service area.
Members can now browse your listings and place requests. You'll receive email notifications for new requests. Review each request, confirm availability, prepare the items, and mark request ready for pickup. Communicate with members through our messaging system to coordinate details and build relationships.

Producers pay an annual membership fee to access the platform and member network. There are no commission fees or per-transaction charges. You keep 100% of your listing sales. Membership pricing is provided during the application process.
Payment arrangements are made directly between you and members. Most producers accept cash, e-transfer, or other convenient methods at pickup. You specify your accepted payment methods in your producer profile.
Absolutely! Private Harvest is designed to complement your existing sales channels, not replace them. Many producers sell at farmers markets, through CSA programs, and via other outlets while also serving Private Harvest members.
You have complete control over your availability. Mark listings as out of stock, adjust inventory levels, or temporarily deactivate your entire listing catalog during busy seasons, vacations, or off-season periods. Reactivate whenever you're ready.
While organic certification and other credentials are valued, they're not required. We welcome producers at all scales who are committed to quality and sustainable practices. Be transparent about your methods and certifications (or lack thereof) in your profile.
