Explore our marketplace of fresh, locally-produced goods. Browse by category (vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, baked goods, and more) or search for specific producers in your region. Each listing includes detailed information about the producer, farming practices, and current availability. Add items to your request list and submit your request directly to the producer.
What You'll Find: Seasonal vegetables, pasture-raised meats, artisan cheeses, fresh-baked breads, free-range eggs, honey, preserves, and specialty items from BC's finest producers.
Once you submit your request, the producer receives your request and prepares your items. Producers will review your request, confirm availability, and mark it ready for pickup when everything is prepared. You'll receive email notifications at each step, keeping you informed about your request status. Most requests are ready within 2-5 days, depending on the producer and listing type.
Pickup Arrangements: Each producer sets their own pickup location and schedule. Details are provided in your request confirmation and can be coordinated directly with the producer.
Private Harvest includes built-in messaging so you can communicate directly with producers. Ask questions about listings, coordinate pickup times, request special items, or simply share feedback. Payment arrangements are made directly between members and producers. Most producers accept cash, e-transfer, or other convenient payment methods at pickup. Specific payment options are listed in each producer's profile.
Producers update inventory regularly, but seasonal items may sell out. If an item you requested is unavailable, the producer will contact you to discuss alternatives or remove it from your request.
Some producers welcome farm visits by appointment. Use the messaging system to inquire directly with producers about visiting their farm or attending special events.
